Cynthia Gonzalez, MS, BCBA, LBA
Cynthia is a bilingual (English–Spanish) Board Certified Behavior Analyst certified in 2018, with over 10 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is deeply committed to bridging the language and cultural gap between clinical providers and Spanish-speaking families, ensuring caregivers feel informed, respected, and empowered from the very beginning of services.
Cynthia has worked across home, clinic, school, and community settings, valuing a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach that supports meaningful, long-term outcomes. Her practice is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming framework, recognizing autism as a natural variation of the human experience and prioritizing autonomy, dignity, communication, and self-advocacy over compliance-based models.
Through individualized, play-based, and interest-led learning, Cynthia creates supportive environments where learners feel safe, understood, and celebrated for their strengths. She believes true progress happens when families are active partners and goals align with each family’s unique vision and culture.
Outside of her professional work, Cynthia enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family and friends and prioritizes her health through regular workouts and an active lifestyle.
